Hookups in Victoria and Tasmania: Melbourne, Hobart and More

Where LetsMeetUp members are in Melbourne, regional Victoria, Hobart and Launceston, and how to meet safely.

In short

Yes, there are people to meet in Victoria and Tasmania. More than 1,000 members list Melbourne as home on LetsMeetUp, and Hobart and Launceston have communities of their own.

Melbourne

Melbourne is the big pool, and it is more mixed than a capital city usually is.

About half of its members are between 25 and 44, and about one in seven is 65 or over. That second figure is the one to notice: people past retirement age are a real part of the Melbourne community on the site.

Regional Victoria

Mildura has more than 150 members. Roughly 60 in every 100 of them are aged 25 to 44, a younger mix than Melbourne. Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and Werribee each have a browse page of their own. Outside Melbourne the lists are shorter, so a few minutes is enough to see everyone active.

Hobart and Launceston

Hobart has more than 300 members, about half between 25 and 44. Launceston has more than 250, and about one in four is 55 or over, the oldest mix of any place counted in this guide.

Tasmania is small, so many members set the nearer of the two cities as home and look across the island.

Nothing in that list costs anything.
